Yeah, sure we say this statement when someone dies. Also some of us may say this sentence when they lose something, suffer a setback or harm. But………..do you know what it means? Sure, everyone knows that it obviously means 'To Allaah we belong and to Him is our return.'But.....….do you REALLY, TRULY understand these words and their implications in a Muslim's life? It means …whatever we have is not really ours. It belongs to Allaah. Take a look around you; everything you see, all that you have and all that there is….in you, on you, around you….belongs to Allaah, alone. It is Allah Who has given you all the property and goods you possess, and that He is the true Owner of them all.

A Muslim’s first source of guidance in life is the Qur’an, and so we turn to the Book of Allah for our initial inspiration in time management.
Most of us have committed to memory the beautiful, short surah: Al-Asr (Quran 103:1-3). Admittedly, we often choose to recite it in our salah because of its brevity rather than for its profound meanings. And yet Imam Shafi’i asserted that if Allah had revealed only this surah, it would have been enough for the guidance of all humanity!
Allah begins the surah by taking an oath – ’Wa al-‘Asr’ – which means ‘by time’. Anything that Allah the Most High swears by in the Qur’an is a tremendous matter – such as ‘Wa al-Fajr’ (by the dawn) or ‘Wa al-Shams’ (by the sun). In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), beginning with an oath was a method to draw the attention of the listener. Time is a concept that fascinated and awed the Arabs then, and it still fascinates Muslims now.
I strongly believe that there is a silent revolution going on among the youth of the Islamic world...slowly but surely the deviant elements of the community are retracting and there a band of 'true' Muslims -those youth who want to follow the teachings of our beloved prophet Muhammad (may Almighty Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) are using all their energy to 'spread the word of the true Islam'
I think its high time that all of us jump on the right bandwagon to find success in this world and the next. Leave the urge to 'follow the maddening crowd' who are running a rat race in life.Do we want to end up as an ordinary pack of rats???
An old friend of mine once said to me, “There’s a myth that’s going around these days, the myth says: If you can manage your time, you can do anything!”. Four years from hearing this advice, I don’t believe it’s a myth anymore.
We all hear about time management and it’s importance, and people shout at us from time to time that we should time manage properly, but rarely do we hear a concise methodology of how to time manage!
In order to understand how to time manage, you firstly need to understand what time management is about.

Two things are full of benefits for the human being, lukewarm water and pomegranate. Pomegranate is a seasonal fruit in Pakistan, so I tried an experiment with dried pomegranate seeds. I prepared a decoction boiling the fistful of dried seeds in half a litre of water for 10 minutes, squeezed the seeds, strained the decoction and advised those patients suffering from painful angina to use a glass of lukewarm decoction on an empty stomach in the morning. An amazing result was observed, the decoction of dried pomegranate seeds worked like magic. The feeling of tightness and heaviness in the chest and the pain had gone. It encouraged me to try more experiments on all types of cardiac patients. So, I tried other experiments on patients who were suffering from painful angina, coronary arterial blockage, cardiac Ischemia (insufficient blood-flow to the heart muscle) etc., waiting for a bypass surgery. The same lukewarm decoction was used on an empty stomach in the morning.
Many of us may not associate being productive with familial roles or responsibilities. Some may think that spending time with family is a waste of time and instead something more constructive can be done. But what if I told you that with a few handy tips, you’ll insha Allah become a productive family member. You’ll also find fulfilling familial roles hassle-free, exciting and stress-free as oppposed to it being boring, unstimulating and time-consuming?
If we were to look for an Islamic definition of Productivity, it can probably be summarised in the word “barakah” or Blessing. Being able to achieve more with few resources, doing much in little time, and generating a lot with little effort is surely a blessing from Allah (Subahanahu Wa Ta’ala). Yet Barakah has somehow become a lost treasure these days; everyone’s looking for it, but no one seems to find it! You always hear people complaining that there’s no barakah in their time, no barakah in their sleep, no barakah in their money and the rest of it.
In this article, we’ll solve this mystery inshaAllah: we’ll find out what Barakah is and where you can find it!
There is a beautiful hadith, Narrated Ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings upon Him) said: ”All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock. A man is the shepherd of the people of his house and he is responsible. A woman is the shepherd of the house for her husband and children, thus she is responsible.
Alhamdulillah, Allah entrusted us with our beautiful children and we are to strive and be the best examples we can be. The best example is our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon Him) we look at his life for the best ways on how to live and interact with others.

Priority should be given to religion in all circumstances, a visiting Sri Lankan Muslim scholar told Muslim students in Riyadh on Saturday.
M.I.M. Rizvi Mufthie, president of the Colombo-based All Ceylon Jamiyathul Ulama (ACJU), was addressing more than 150 students at a lecture held at the auditorium of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in Riyadh.
Muslim students from grade three to advanced level classes were present with their parents to listen to the lecture of Mufthie, who was deemed one of the 500 most influential Muslims worldwide.
